Professional Summary
A three decades long career in multiple segments of the cottonseedindustry has resulted in a considerable knowledge base for every aspect ofcottonseed production, ginning, processing and utilization. Issues that limitthe utilization of cottonseed products, such as gossypol and mycotoxins havebeen of particular interest and focus during this long career in the cottonseedindustry.

Directed, prioritized and supervised the entire Research andMarketing activities for the U.S. cotton industry. Developed the strategicinitiatives for the cottonseed industry and allocated the budget to accomplishthose strategic initiatives.

Worked as an international commodity trader for cottonseedproducts, primarily whole cottonseed, meal, oil and hulls. Contactedprospective buyers and existing customers, closed the sale and arrangeddelivery by truck, rail or ocean container. Negotiated freight rates andensured on-time delivery.
